09/13/201810/04/2018My Student in Need - The Great Falls Public School has mandated healthy snacks in the classroom. Most of our students bring in snacks to help get them through the day however, a couple of my students are facing financial insecurity and many times do are unable to afford snacks. Therefore, I am asking for help so I can buy healthy snacks and have them on hand in my class so I can privately distribute them to these students in need. Some suggestions would be dried fruit, granola bars, baked crackers, animal crackers, etc. If you can assist, we ask that you either make a donation of $40 to My Student in Need and we will purchase a gift card for the teacher to purchase the snacks or drop off some of the snacks listed above and we will give them to the teacherin a nurturing manner.
