11/02/201511/04/2015I have a student that has 7 or more siblings. They are struggling financially and are unable to provide the necessary items for winter. I am requesting assistance for my student primarily (coat size 6, hat, gloves, boots- small size, snow pants size 6-7) If any assistance can be given for her siblings there is a preschool and toddler brother and several older brothers to age 12 (size 10-12)I believe. 10/26/201511/03/2015My Student in Need - We have 6th Grade Students at Longfellow (20 girls, 20 boys) who are in need of deodorant to keep in their lockers for after recess and P.E. If you can help you can either donate 20 sticks of Men's deodorant and 20 sticks of Woman's deodorant to My Student in Need and we will deliver them to our liaison at the school or you can make a donation of $80 and we will purchase the needed items on your behalf. 10/29/201511/03/2015Student in need - Sixth grade boy, age 12, is in need of size 9 1/2 all weather/hiking shoes. The ones he has now are way too big and he is constantly walking out of them. New or gently used/ clean is wonderful! 10/21/201511/03/2015Student in need - fourth grade female student, age 9, who has recently moved in with her grandparents and is in need of a used/ clean or new full sized sleep system (mattress and box spring) and bedding if possible. Conlin's Furniture can provide a new Full Bed System for a discounted price of $230. 10/23/201511/03/2015Student in need - UPDATE: 2nd grade female student age 7, is in need of a used/clean or new complete twin sleep system (mattress, box spring, and frame). She is currently sleeping on a very old mattress placed directly on the cold floor. If you would like to help, but do not have a used/clean twin sleep system, Colin's can provide her with a new sleep system for the discounted price of $210. UPDATE: We have a donor who has pledged $35, therefore we now only need $175 and she can get a bed. Any donations received for this need will be used to buy her the bed.
