We are able to fulfill the snow pants and gloves, however, we still need two pairs of boots, size 11(boys) and size 1(boys). With the snow that Great Falls has experienced over the last week, My Student in Need has had multiple requests for snow pants for elementary students. It is the end of the seasons for snow pants and many stores, if they have any left are clearing them out for the year. So My Student in Need went and purchased 29 pairs of snow pants in various sizes to be able to immediately fulfill snow pant requests. Our friends at K-Mart and Shopko were able to give us some additional discounts to help to keep the cost down, however, the purchase price was a total of $410.30. WE ALREADY HAVE A DONOR FOR $50.00 TOWARD THESE SNOWPANTS, UPDATE: WE HAVE MORE DONORS OF $300, SO WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BALANCE OF $60.30. ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANK YOU. Currently, we have a midmorning and a late afternoon snack. They truly gobble them up! My request is for a class size of 22 students and is for healthy snacks. The Great Falls Public Schools web site provides a list of various items. Some suggestions would be dried fruit, granola bars, baked crackers, animal crackers.
