01/22/201401/23/2014My Student in Need - Female Student age eight has just returned to school from Department of Family Services placement and is in need of $63.30 so she can have school breakfast and lunch. 01/09/201401/22/2014My Students in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW - NORMALLY THIS MIGHT BE CONSIDERED A "WANT" HOWEVER WE HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE TEACHER AND SHE HAS CONFIRMED THAT THE SCHOOL DOES NOT PROVIDE THE NEEDED EQUIPMENT. I have six High School Students who are in need of new or gently used and working digital cameras for photography class. The students are required to have a camera for this class and without one will not receive a passing grade. Any camera donated will be the property of the school however the students will be able to use them and possess them however the cameras will be turned back into the Photography Class at the end of the school year. The type of camera needed is any 5 MP or higher digital camera with shutter speed, and F-stop settings. These are labeled as AV, TV, P, M on the camera. Vivitar makes one that sells for $29.95. IF YOU HAVE A CAMERA THAT MEETS THE REQUIRED FUNCTIONS AND CAN DONATE IT - WONDERFUL! OR IF YOU WISH TO HELP YOU CAN PLEDGE ANY AMOUNT TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF THE SIX CAMERAS. UPDATE - WE HAVE RECEIVED TWO CAMERAS AND TWO PLEDGES FOR TWO OTHER CAMERAS - THEREFORE WE ARE NEED OF JUST TWO REMAINING CAMERAS. She is in need of everything from underwear, socks, pants and shirts. Her current size is 6X (the next size would be okay too). 01/06/201401/09/2014My Student in Need - I actually have 2 girls and 1 boy students who need warm mitten or gloves. They borrow from lost and found, but they really need their own to use. Plus, the cotton style does not work well when you are 5 and MUST pick up snow. :) We are in need of a total of three pairs of gloves - two girls and one boys.
