The female kindergarten student is in need of shirts and pants in size 6, and size 13 in tennis shoes and boots. The female 3 year old is in need of shirts and pants in size 3, a coat, and shoes and boots in size 8. We are requesting any and all support of both new and gently used clothing and shoes. 10/02/201410/15/2014My Student in Need - UPDATE: SEE BELOW I have a student whose family is homeless and they are in immediate need of camping gear so they can have shelter while we work on trying to find them a place to stay. They need a four-person tent = preferably insulated or made from durable material with zippers to keep the cold out, two adult sleeping bags and a couple of air mattresses and a battery-operated pump with batteries or a couple of sleeping pads. UPDATE: WE HAVE RECEIVED A GENEROUS DONATION OF A $100 GIFT CARD TO HELP WITH THE PURCHASE OF THE TENT, WE ARE SEEKING ANOTHER $150 TO PURCHASE THE SLEEPING BAGS AND AIR MATTRESSES. MY STUDENT IN NEED HAS VERIFIED THAT THERE IS NOT A FAMILY SHELTER AVAILABLE IN MISSOULA, SO WE ARE TRYING TO ASSIST THEM SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO SLEEP IN THEIR CAR. 10/01/201410/15/2014My Student in Need - A teenage mom has an 8-week old baby. The new mom is in need of a newborn front carrier so she can hold her baby but have her hands free to do homework when she gets home from school. The front pack needs to have head support, as the child is too young to hold up her head on her own. Because this is a safety issues - we cannot accept a used carrier - it has to be new and in the original box. Therefore, we are seeking a financial pledge of $90 so the teacher can take the mom shopping and select the type of carrier needed.
