12/01/201412/10/2014I am trying to support my second grade students' reading growth by providing books they can keep. It is one thing to get children to read actively and independently at school, but to build true readers, it is important for them to be reading at home as well. I would like for us to be able to provide two or three reading level appropriate books per student for my class of 21.

Right now we are in need of zipping binders with three rings and also large size backpacks. We need these for both boys and girls. Any help to secure these items for students in need is appreciated! 11/14/201412/04/2014My Student in Need - We have numerous schools, elementary, middle schools and high schools requesting warm and waterproof/resistant gloves. We are able to get these gloves out to the schools when we have them in the office, so we are asking for donations of winter gloves and/or mittens of all sizes. 11/20/201412/04/2014My Student in Need - I have a 9th grade male student - age 15 who is in need of a 15 ride student bus pass. His family has moved & now is just inside the two mile limit so he cannot ride the school bus. The family has limited income & mom has younger children she needs to transport so if could get a bus pass this would really help him.
