11/14/201411/20/2014My Student in Need - We have an 8th grade female student, age 13 that has recently had major surgery and requires crutches to get around. With the weather causing wet floors in the school, she is having issues with slips and falls. Clarks Orthopedic is able to give us a discounted rate of $100 for the rental of a scooter through the end of December. Because this is a safety concern and an immediate need, My Student in Need has paid the rental fee, so we are looking for reimbursement of $100 so that we can help the next immediate need. 11/13/201411/20/2014We have several students in need of WARM, HEAVY gloves. During these cold spells, students come to my office desperately seeking warm gloves for the walk home. I have had many coats and light gloves donated, but not many WARM, HEAVY gloves that I can hand out to students right then and there so they're available after school that day. Thank you!!! 11/19/201411/20/2014My Student in Need - We have several students who have no ride to school and rely on public transportation, especially during the cold spells. Oftentimes, those students will not have money for bus fare. The Great Falls Transit Authority has booklets of 25 single use passes for $18.75 for student use. We are asking for donations to purchase booklets to give to the school so that they can give the passes out to students as they are needed.
