Our friends at Scheels will assist him in selecting the best shoes possible. If you can assist, you can either purchase a $40 gift card for Scheels or make a donation to My Student in Need for $40 and we will buy the gift card on your behalf. 04/21/201504/27/2015Student in Need - Valley View School is in need of sweatpants and underwear for boys and girls, grades K - 4. We have experienced a high number of accidents this year and have depleted our supply of extra clothing. Sizes 4-12, boys and girls. New or gently used is fine for the general clothing but the underwear must be new and in the original package for health reasons. The highest need is for K,1 and 2 grades. Any help would be appreciated. If you can help you can either: 1)donate $100 to My Student in Need and we will purchase a gift card to Wal-Mart or Target, or 2) you can purchase a $100 gift card to Walmart or Target and drop that off at our offices inside Time Square, or 3) if you have any of then needed items and wish to donate them please drop them off at Times Square. Because proper fit and comfort is crucial - we are asking for help to either buy a $40 gift card from Scheels Sporting Goods or simply make a donation of any amount up to %$40 and we will buy the gift card and get it to the teacher on your behalf. 04/07/201504/10/2015My Student in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: We have 5th Graders that have participated in the running club at Longfellow Elementary this year. As a final event they would like to participate in the Kolor Me 4 Kids 5k Run - "No More Violence" Campaign. We have five students that are unable to pay the $25 registration fee, so we are asking for donors to sponsor these 5 kids. Not only will your donation support healthy living for these young students, but you will also be supporting "No More Violence" against kids. The total amount of registration fees for these 5 kids is $125. UPDATE: WE HAVE RECEIVED A DONATION OF $50 FROM A CARING DONOR - THANK YOU! Now we only need $75 and we will be able to fulfill this need. You can sponsor 1, 2 or 3 of the remaining students in need.
