I have a student whose family is unable to bring anything due to financial stress. My student feels bad about not being able to share a snack with the class. We have 24 students in our classroom and would appreciate some non-perishable boxed crackers or cookies or other healthy snack items so my student can feel like he is contributing to our room. 09/27/2013 | 10/16/2013 | My Student in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: As a school, we are in need of pants for both BOYS and GIRLS, sizes 5 & 6. We often have students who have accidents at school, and need fresh clothes after they are cleaned up. We could use 3-4 pairs of pants for both boys and girls. UPDATE: We had a donor offer to provide all of the requested items but for some unknown reason the donor did not fulfill the need. Therefore we are reposting this important need request. 10/14/2013 | 10/16/2013 | My Student in Need - Classroom in Need - Several students are beginning to complain about the smoke smell coming from a student's backpack. Our coat lockers are very close together and the parent's of the child she shares a locker with has also noticed the smoke smell coming home on their child's belongings. Therefore we are seeking a large spray bottle of "Febreeze" odor eliminator to get rid of the smoke smell. 10/09/2013 | 10/15/2013 | My Student in Need - NEW UPDATE - SEE BELOW: I have a very low income, 14 year old, Male Student in my class with almost no appropriate cold weather clothing. I would like to request a few long sleeved shirts or sweatshirts - size Large, a few pair of blue jeans in a 34 waste/32 length, a few heavy socks, a belt and tennis shoes. His mother says he is wearing a size 11 shoe but is complaining that they are too tight. A size 11 1/2 or 12 tennis shoe would be great. NEW UPDATE: A generous donor has already purchased AND DELIVERED two zipper sweatshirts, two long sleeve t-shirts, 10 pair of black and white socks, a belt and tennis shoes. WOW! Thank you!!! Now all he is in need of is a couple pairs of blue jeans. Thank you very much. |

We are seeking donors to help with these items. UPDATE: WE HAVE KIND DONOR WHO IS DONATING THE JACKET. THEREFORE WE ARE SEEKING HELP WITH THE OTHER ITEMS. You are not required to supply everything listed. What ever you can help with is a blessing. He will be unable to participate in music until his instrument is repaired. IF YOU CAN HELP BRING BACK THE SOUND OF MUSIC FOR THIS STUDENT, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY $40 DIRECTLY TO MY STUDENT IN NEED AS WE WILL PAY THE INDIVIDUAL WHO IS DOING THE REPAIR WORK DIRECTLY FROM THE TRUST SAVINGS ACCOUNT. I keep money in my desk to keep him covered, but also know money is difficult to come by in his home. A lanyard or a wallet to keep it in might be very useful, as well.
