10/10/201310/15/2013My Student in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: I have a Junior male student - age 16 - in need of some winter clothes like some long sleeve shirts (size M), and a heavy winter jacket (size L), and a hat and gloves. We are seeking donors to help with these items. UPDATE: WE HAVE KIND DONOR WHO IS DONATING THE JACKET. THEREFORE WE ARE SEEKING HELP WITH THE OTHER ITEMS. You are not required to supply everything listed. What ever you can help with is a blessing. 10/10/201310/15/2013My Student in Need - I have a Sixth Grade male student who had his trumpet damaged by elements out of his control. Repairs are estimated at 40 dollars. He will be unable to participate in music until his instrument is repaired. IF YOU CAN HELP BRING BACK THE SOUND OF MUSIC FOR THIS STUDENT, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY $40 DIRECTLY TO MY STUDENT IN NEED AS WE WILL PAY THE INDIVIDUAL WHO IS DOING THE REPAIR WORK DIRECTLY FROM THE TRUST SAVINGS ACCOUNT. 10/10/201310/15/2013My Student in Need - Sixth grade male student in need of a city bus pass. He rides the bus to and from school each day and at times does not have money for his return trip. I keep money in my desk to keep him covered, but also know money is difficult to come by in his home. A lanyard or a wallet to keep it in might be very useful, as well. If you can help you are asked to buy any of the items or if you have any of the items needed and they are in good condition, please deliver them to the main office of Lewis & Clark School. The family is not able to get another pair until spring of 2014 and they cannot afford to buy new glasses at this time. She is now staying in a small motel room with her father and brother. Dad is working but their lives are in status of unknown. She is in need of clothing appropriate for the coming winter weather. She needs pants, shoes, shirts/sweaters and a pair of gloves. HERE IS HOW YOU CAN HELP HER... WE ARE SEEKING DONORS TO PLEDGE A TOTAL OF $100 SO WE CAN BUY HER A TARGET "APPAREL ONLY" GIFT CARD. Both girls are in need of winter coats, child size 6. If you can help these sisters you are asked to either: Purchase two coats and deliver them to the main office at Loy Elementary or you can donate $50 to My Student in Need and we will purchase the coats and deliver them for the donor. 10/09/201310/11/2013My Student in Need - 11-year old male student would like to play the bells in band. We spoke with the band teacher and he is approved to take part however the family cannot afford the cost of the used bells. Having him take part will do sooo much for his pride and confidence. My Student in Need is seeking a pledge for the cost of the used bells which is $75. If you can help, you will be asked to pay My Student in Need directly. Currently, the soles of his shoes are duct taped so his feet won't drag on the ground.IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE STUDENT WITH THE BEST FIT, WE ARE ASKING FOR A DONOR TO EITHER PLEDGE $25 OR GO AND BUY A SCHEELS SPORTING GOODS "SHOE GIFT CARD." This card can only be used by the student's parents to buy the tennis shoes. If you can help you can either buy the card from Scheels and deliver it to Chief Joseph School or simply mail a check to My Neighbor in Need and we will buy the card and deliver it for you. Hard working student who will graduating soon but understandably does not wish to transfer to different high school for just a few months. She is in need of a Great Falls Transit Bus Punch Card so she can get to and from school. IF YOU CAN HELP YOU WILL BE ASKED TO PAY GREAT FALLS TRANSIST $30 OR YOU CAN BUY THREE $10 STUDENT BUS PUNCH CARDS AT THE BUS STATION DOWNTOWN AND THEN DELIVER THEM TO THE MAIN OFFICE AT C.M. RUSSELL HIGH SCHOOL. THE ID#14.
10/03/201310/08/2013My Student in Need- 4th grader who must ride city bus to get to school needs two student punch cards and one adult punch card for the adult who must ride the bus with them.Punch cards cost $10 and are available at Great Falls Transit Center on the corner of 4th St South and 1st Ave South. This would help them get to school. YOU MAY ALSO SIMPLY PLEDGE TO PAY THE $30 AND MY STUDENT IN NEED WILL PURCHASE THE PUNCH CARDS AND DELIVERY THEM TO WEST ELEMENTARY. Thank you very much.

10/03/201310/07/2013My Student in Need - 2nd grade student. Owes $10.00 for lunch currently and will be getting cheese sandwich and water for lunch until balance paid. Parents have filled out free and reduced paperwork, but until paperwork processes and $10.00 is paid he will only get cheese sandwiches. The $10 check can be paid directly to GFPS - lunch program and delivered to Roosevelt School. Thank you!
