10/03/201310/23/2013My Student in Need - 4th grade male student with a physical handicap is in need of a winter coat and a few long sleeve shirts. Size 8-10 or medium. He loves the colors blue and red. Due to his situation the shirt sleeves would need to be altered to better fit him. The sleeve length will need to cut down to be 13 inches long. He'll sometimes catches the city bus if he has money, but often borrows money from staff so he doesn't have to walk home. He could use a a few Student Bus Punch Cards as the weather turns colder. This student is in dire need of some of the most basic neccessities, including toiletries, underwear, bras, socks, pants and gloves for winter. She is an amazing young woman whose single parent cannot afford to purchase these items. Your assistance is appreciated much more than you realize. MY STUDENT IN NEED IS WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE STUDENT'S TEACHER TO HELP FULFILL THIS NEED REQUEST. THEREFORE WE ARE SEEKING A DONOR OR DONORS WHO WILL PLEDGE A TOTAL OF $100 SO WE CAN BUY HER AN APPAREL GIFT CARD FROM WAL-MART. NEW UPDATE: WE HAVE A DONOR WHO HAS PLEDGED $20 TOWARDS THE GIFT CARD. WE NOW HAVE A SECOND DONOR WHO WILL PROVIDE THE TOILETRIES, GLOVES, HAT AND SCARF. THEREFORE WE ARE IN NEED OF HELP WITH $30 FOR THE PERSONAL APPAREL. To insure that the gift card is only used for apparel and personal items the teacher will take the student shopping for these personal items. Any amount offered will be a huge blessing.
