10/25/201310/28/2013My Teacher in Need - Every year I play Halloween Jingo with my high school students on Halloween. It is a bingo style game but they have to figure out the jingo (riddle) about Halloween before they can place their candy marking piece on that square of their board. Every year since 1991 I have supplied the candy marking pieces (m&ms or hot tamales) for 150 students to play. This costs approx. $60 dollars each year and the student get to eat the candy upon completion of the activity. It is a fun day for my high school English students to get to be a kid again just once during the year. I am not able to buy the candy this year and wondered if someone could assist? He loves the colors blue and red. Due to his situation the shirt sleeves would need to be altered to better fit him. The sleeve length will need to cut down to be 13 inches long. He'll sometimes catches the city bus if he has money, but often borrows money from staff so he doesn't have to walk home. He could use a a few Student Bus Punch Cards as the weather turns colder.
