10/24/201311/05/2013My Student in Need - NEW UPDATE SEE BELOW: I have a student - age 11 who needs to have heart surgery in Seattle at the Shodair Children's Hospital. The family needs help so they can travel there by car. They have a place to stay at the Ronald McDonald House, but they need help with the gas and food costs. We estimate the fuel costs to be $190 and food costs of $220. My Student in Need will gather all of the pledges and buy gas cards and subway cards and deliver them to the school's main office on the donor's behalf. We wish to keep the school's name off record to protect everyone's privacy. NEW UPDATE: WE HAVE RECEIVED TWO PLEDGES FOR A TOTAL OF $250 TOWARDS THIS NEED. THEREFORE WE ARE NOW IN NEED OF $170 AND THIS NEED WILL BE FULFILLED!
